Bookclub and More Meeting 26th October 2019

Our last read of 2019 will be ‘Girl Wash Your Face’ by Rachel Hollis.

Whilst this book is focussing on women, men are encouraged to read and come along and hear their perspective on some of the issues raised.

We will be meeting from 10:30am -12.30pm at Mug Head Coffee Shop in New Cross. If you haven’t been before, do come and join us. We are a friendly bunch and there is some great food and drinks available for purchase.

According to Wikpedia, it was the second most popular book on Amazon in 2018 and a New York Times best seller in its category.

The book explores looks at factors that hold us back from achieving the life we want. Each chapter is addresses a specific issue  and offers practical suggestion on how to overcome. ‘Girl Wash your face’ uses humour, personal experience and a direct approach to offer advice.

Rachel Hollis is the founder of the lifestyle website ‘The and CEO of ‘Chic Media’. Her online audience grew out of Rachel offering advised and talking about some of highs and lows in her life.
